Center for Applied Research in Economics

Center for Criminology and Criminal Justice Research
Center for Perceptual Systems
The Center for Perceptual Systems is an integrated program that overlaps several separate departments: Neuroscience, Psychology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Neurobiology, Computer Science, and Speech and Communication.
Institute of Classical Archaeology
The Institute of Classical Archaeology (ICA) carries out multi-disciplinary archaeological research, conservation, and cultural resource management projects in the territory of ancient Greek colonies in southern Italy and on the Black Sea coast of Ukraine.
Linguistics Research Center
The principal activities of the Center at present focus on Indo-European languages and comprise historical study, lexicography, and bibliography.
Population Research Center
The Population Research Center is an interdisciplinary research unit of the University of Texas at Austin that provides support for population-related research projects at UT.
Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies
Founded in 1940, LLILAS is a language and national resource center under Title VI of the Higher Education Act, integrating more than 30 academic departments at UT and offering programs that lead to the B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees.
Texas Archaeological Research Laboratory (TARL)
TARL's mission is to collect, preserve, and curate archeological specimens and records, train students, conduct archeological research, and disseminate information about Texas' archeological legacy.
