Professor Meisel has published Barons of the Welsh Frontier: The Corbet, Pantulf, and Fitz Warin Families, 1066-1272< /i> (1980). She is at work on a comparative study of two medieval frontier towns, Hereford and Shrewsbury, from their origins to 1348. Future projects include a study of the impact of the Black Death on post- plague Europe and a book on the Mortimer family from 1066 to 1485.
