Established in 1935, Plan II is a challenging interdisciplinary honors major with a required core curriculum. The core curriculum requirements include the study of literature, philosophy, society, the arts, math and natural sciences. Plan II HRC and LLILAS Interns Announced
Plan II offers an internship program at the Harry Ransom Center that is designed to provide advanced undergraduates with experience in the nature and operations of a major humanities research center. The Plan II interns at the Teresa Lozano Long Institute of Latin American Studies experience exciting learning opportunities for those interested pursuing graduate degrees or working in Latin American affairs; international public policy, international education as well as in any Social Sciences discipline.

The Truman Scholarship recognizes college juniors with exceptional leadership potential who are committed to careers in government, the nonprofit or advocacy sectors, education or other public service; and provides financial support for graduate study, leadership training, and fellowship with other students who are committed to making a difference through public service.
