The Philosophy Department is proud to welcome Harrington Fellow Katherine Dunlop from Brown University.
The focus of Dunlop's work has been philosophy of mathematical science in the early modern period. She has given particular attention to the relationship of mathematics to perception. Her current project is an account of Kant's philosophy of mathematics. She is also interested in Kant's broader theory of knowledge, and in the influence of Kant's views on twentieth-century analytic philosophy.
