Workship One: UTeach and Breakthrough.
UTeach is a secondary teacher preparation program for Liberal Arts and Natural Sciences majors. The program consists of at least four long semesters of vigorous coursework and each semester requires field placements in local schools. Breakthrough is part of a national education collaborative that provides a path to college for first-generation college students. Breakthrough Academic Coaches provide individualized academic support to Breakthrough students in grades 7 through 12 to ensure that they earn A’s and B’s in rigorous, college-preparatory courses.
