Friday, December 2: New York
As she did for us in 2008, Linda Addison (’73), the Partner-in-Charge of the New York office of Fulbright and Jaworski L.L.P., will again host a Plan II Alumni reception this year. We are most grateful for her support.
Plan II Director Michael Stoff will be there with an account of the very successful 75th Anniversary and Reunion held here in Austin this past March, as well as a report on the state of Plan II today. Pulitzer-Prize winning historian David Oshinsky (who also happens to teach in Plan II) will be there too, offering a brief presentation on some of his latest research.
The reception is scheduled for after work, from 5:30 to 7:30.

Plan II alumnus David Lowey ('00) will be hosting a private tour of The Public Theater, where he works as an Assistant Director. The downtown home of The Public Theater calls started its life as the Astor Library, the first public library in NYC. It was then a social hall for soldiers, the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, and since 1967, The Public Theater.
It's a landmark building undergoing some pretty spectacular renovations. The tour would include the lobby, the facade, and all six of the performance venues (assuming they are available), and an historic/architectural perspective on the spaces. It would last about an hour, and we will be able to accommodate 25 people.
Whether you live in New York or plan to be there that weekend, we would love to see you all there. Here is the link to the RSVP form:
