Spanish Screening Procedure (SSP), August Test Date

The Spanish Screening Procedure (SSP) is a screening test for oral proficiency in Spanish. The SSP is offered once a semester. LOTE students seeking certification in Spanish are required to take the SSP each semester of the UTeach program.Any student can take the SSP to get feedback about their oral proficiency skills in Spanish, but all secondary Spanish certification seekers in UTL 101, 202 and 303, and EDC 370S who have not yet made a score of 7 or 8 on the SSP, should come by SZB 216, or call 471-3223, to sign up for a time slot on Thursday, August 23, 2007 to take the SSP.
The whole process takes only about one-half hour. Times available include 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, and 11:00 a.m., and 1:00 and 1:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Sue Gamel Holzaepfel, Senior Academic Counselor, firstname.lastname@example.org, 471-3223.
