| Spanish Screening Procedure (SSP), August Test Date | August 25, 2008 | Sanchez Building, Room 216 | The Spanish Screening Procedure (SSP) is a screening test for oral proficiency in Spanish. LOTE students seeking certification in Spanish are required to take the SSP each semester of the UTeach program. *Students who plan to take UTL 202 or UTL 303/EDC 370S in the fall and who did not take the SSP this past spring are required to take the SSP in August. All secondary Spanish certification seekers in UTL 101, 202 and UTL 303/EDC 370S who have not yet made a score of 7 or 8 on the SSP, should come by SZB 216, or call 471-3223, to sign up for a time slot on Monday, August 25, 2008 to take the SSP. The whole process takes only about one-half hour. Times available include 9:00, 9:30, 10:00, 10:30, and 11:00 a.m., and 1:00, 1:30, 2:00, 2:30, 3:00 and 3:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Sue Gamel Holzaepfel, Senior Academic Counselor, sgamel@mail.utexas.edu, 471-3223.
