Artist Jennifer Chenoweth to Speak about Her Hedonic Map of Austin Project

Thu, March 6, 2014 | Thinkery 21, 1830 Simond Ave, Austin, Texas 78723

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Join multi-media artist Jennifer Chenoweth of Fisterra Studio as she presents her project, the “Hedonic Map of Pleasure and Pain in Austin, Texas”, which is also currently being installed in the Psychology Department's Seay building on the UT campus (southeast entrance and stairwell).

As Austinites share the physical locations where they experienced their highest and lowest emotional points, Chenoweth has developed a collective map of this weird city. At Thinkery21, submissions to the map will be accepted and visitors can share their own most impactful places and memories of Austin.

Thinkery21 is an evening series exclusively for adults 21 and up at the Thinkery, the new Austin Children’s Museum (1830 Simond Ave, Austin, Texas 78723). Come visit the Thinkery and experience innovative exhibits, live demonstrations, hands-on activities and more. Grab a drink and mingle with makers, scientists, artists, and other interesting folks.
