The theatrical touring company Actors from the London Stage (AFTLS) will return to the university this September to perform Shakespeare's popular comedy "A Midsummer Night's Dream." This year's week-long residency begins Sept. 27, with performances at the university's McCullough Theatre Sept. 29-Oct. 1 at 7:30 p.m. Purchase tickets here through the Texas Performing Arts website. Tickets are $10 for UT ID holders, non-UT students, and senior citizens; general admission is $20.

Five classically trained actors comprise Actors from the London Stage, one of the world's oldest established touring Shakespeare theatre companies. The actors, hailing from prestigious companies such as the Royal Shakespeare Company and Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, emphasize language, characterization, and dramatic energy in their intimate and compelling performances. During their residency, the actors will also lead workshops in classes around campus. Read more about the AFTLS residency here.
