Performance Artist Reads "Dialogues with a Dominican York Artist"

The John L. Warfield Center for African and African American Studies presents "Dialogues with a Dominican York Artist," a reading by Josefina Báez.

Josefina Baez, actor, writer, director and educator, is the founder and present director of Ay Ombe Theatre Troupe. Her work is multidisciplinary in context and intercultural in scope and highly subjective. She has participated in many international theater festivals and workshops in Europe, Asia, Latin American and the Caribbean. Her latest book is titled "Comrade, Bliss Ain't Playing."

The event is a part of the Diaspora Talk Series.
