The centennial of World War I, a conflagration that claimed the lives of some 13 million soldiers (more than twice the number killed in all the major wars from 1790 to 1914), will be commemorated in this roundtable discussion hosted by the Institute for Historical Studies.

Panelists will explore the experiences of the war’s participants, as well as the conflict’s manifold repercussions. Go to the Institute for Historical Studies website for more details.

Visit the History Department’s Not Even Past and The Appendix websites for more research on World War I.
