The Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies presents a screening of "Barber of Siberia."
Against the backdrop of 19th-century tsarist Russia, a foreign entrepreneur and his lovely assistant Jane venture to the wilds of Siberia to sell an experimental timber harvester. Instead of business, however, Jane finds love in Siberia when she meets a young Russian officer, Andre, and she spends the next 10 years pursuing him throughout his exile.
