The Institute for Historical Studies, the British Studies Program and the Littlefield Fund for Southern History are hosting a conference titled "1763 and All That: Temptations of Empire in the British World in the Decade After the Seven Year's War" Feb. 25-26.
Top historians from universities throughout the United States, Canada and Britain will discuss the causes, events and consequences of Britain’s imperial transformation during the 1760s and early 1770s.
