The University of Texas at Austin and The University Co-operative Society announce
The 2013 Professor Robert W. Hamilton Book Author Awards
First Prize: $10,000
Four Additional Prizes: $3,000 each
These awards will be made to faculty or staff members who, in the preceding calendar year, have published the best book-length publications as determined by a multi-disciplinary committee of scholars appointed by the Vice President for Research of The University of Texas at Austin.
Published works including scholarly monographs, creative works (e.g.,novels and anthologies of poetry), exhibition catalogues, textbooks, and edited collections, published during the 2012 calendar year may be nominated. Current University of Texas at Austin faculty (tenured, tenure track, senior lecturers and lecturers), Code 1000, and staff are eligible to compete for these awards. UT students are not eligible for this program. Books must be published (copyright date) between Jan. 1, 2012 to Dec. 31, 2012.
