9:30 AM - 4:30 PM

The Central Texas Colloquium on Religion (CTCR) Research Conference provides an opportunity for graduate and advanced undergraduate students in Central Texas to present original research and receive critical feedback within a creative and academic atmosphere.  The conference is organized by graduate students and professors from universities, colleges and seminaries in Central Texas and seeks to foster intellectual dialogue among scholars of religion within our area.  This year's program includes young scholars from Baylor University, Seminary of the Southwest, St. Edward's University, and The University of Texas at Austin.

Dr. L. Michael White, Professor of Religious Studies and Classics, will deliver the keynote address: "Can Anything Good Come out of Noodle?: Professional and Personal Reflections on Studying Religion in the Lone Star State."

The conference is free and open to the public. Please visit the conference website for more information: http://www.utexas.edu/cola/depts/rs/events/Research-Colloquium/About.php
