The Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies presents the documentaries "The Red Stuff" and "Fallen Idol: The Yuri Gagarin Conspiracy".  These films explore the Soviet space program from 1957 to 1965, during the time of Sputnik and cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin.  Many secrets of the Soviet space program  - its successes and tragedies - are revealed using rarely seen footage.
