Planet Music: Eastern European Day, Featuring Vana Mazi and Slavadillo!

Come enjoy an afternoon of Eastern European music and dance!
The History, Arts and Nature Division of the City of Austin is partnering with Austin International Folk Dancers for this event to bring you dance instruction from many different countries and keep you moving to the music. No partner or experience necessary, just a taste for fun and curiosity about other cultures!
SLAVADILLO - Longtime Eastern European music staple of Austin, they will start off the evening with several classics to get the party started.
VANA MAZI - Who have toured across Europe and gathered many of the traditional songs that they will share with you, along with some originals that are influenced by the musical masters they've learned from.
2pm - Doors open
3pm - Dance lesson by Austin International Folk Dancers, followed by Slavadillo
4pm - Vana Mazi, with more dance instruction interspersed.
The event is free, family friendly and open to the public.
