Suddenly the managers of the supermarket “Czech Dream” rush out onto the stage, greet their ‘customers,’ and briskly cut the glittering ribbon. The escort removes the metal barriers and the crowd starts moving forward...but the supermarket isn’t real. Using billboards, pamphlets, newspaper ads, television commercials, a website and even a specially composed jingle, two Czech Film Academy students, posing as businessmen, have pulled the wool over the eyes of over 3000 Czech consumers. Directors Vit Kluák and Filip Remunda are these students, and their documentary is the story of their hoax.
