Dr. Pesenson will discuss the extant Slavonic Sibylline texts circulating in the medieval and early modern Orthodox Slavic world, focusing on their literary-historical significance and relationship to Greek and Latin Sibylline literature, as well as their connection with the corpus of the Sibylline Oracles and other Old Testament apocrypha.
