Gender, The Family, Stratification, Criminal Justice


Elizabeth Cozzolino is a sociology graduate student with primary research interests in the family, stratification, gender, and criminal justice. She wrote her master's thesis on how child support payments shape relationships between parents and children in post-divorce and post-separation families. She did her comprehensive exams in Gender and U.S. Welfare State Policy. She also works as a GRA for Dr. Rob Crosnoe examining the effects of the Great Recession on the transitition to adulthood. She is a member of the Crime Law and Deviance and Race and Ethnicity working groups.

In addition to academic research, she has done policy analysis for the Child Support Division of the Texas Attorney General's Office.
