'Fandry' Movie Screening and Discussion with Filmmaker - Mr. Nagraj Manjule

"Fandry" film, it is one of the first Dalit cinema depicting the issues of day to day cumulative suffering of caste, color, and untouchability. The film runs through the struggles and challenges of an untouchable caste kid for his education, aspirations, love, and issues of indignity and self esteem. This film demonstrate creative genius of director and team, it has got several awards across India and at International festival. Many of top notch Indian stars, like Amir Khan, Shyam Benegal, Nasuruddin Shah, Anurag Kashyap, etc appreciated the movie and contended that this film should represent India at International level.
