Recent Developments in Ritual Studies A Roundtable Discussion with Ute Hüsken

Wednesday, Sept. 12, 7 pm Meyerson Conference Room (WCH 4.118).

At this Roundtable, Ute Hüsken will discuss with us the notions of efficacy and failure of ritual and, more generally, recent developments in ritual studies. The discussion will center on the concluding chapter of her new book, "When Rituals Go Wrong". Everyone interested in the study of ritual is welcome to attend and to join the discussion.
