Libby IconTips and Expectations for Orientation

Orientation is your opportunity to learn about the College and to become familiar with the challenges and opportunities that await. Advisors will be available to assist you; however, your success and the knowledge gained, is ultimately dependent upon you - the student.

Here are some important tips to keep in mind:

•    You are responsible for making your own reservations for orientation

•    You are responsible for attending all orientation activities.

•    We expect you to register for classes with the assistance of your designated academic advisors, and not your parents or family members. This lays the foundation to build a relationship with your advisor as well as to prepare you for registration in future semesters.

•    We expect you to act like a responsible adult and to follow all orientation rules.
