Chelsea Bucklew
Hi UTurn students! My name is Chelsea Bucklew and I can't wait to meet you all, but for now let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a 5th year senior studying Sociology, so if you have any sociological questions I'm your girl. Also, I'm minoring in History so I know a thing or two about the past. My family currently resides in the greater Austin area but we are originally from Washington, DC. EAST COAST REPRESENT! I dream big and aspire to live in New York City in my post grad life and do some fantastic things. I'm a huge foodie, so for those of you who enjoy a delicious meal, we will get along just fine. I also enjoy working out, shopping, traveling, singing, and Christmas! I'm an only child so I'm always down for some bonding time considering my lack of a sibling. Hello, and welcome to the UTurn Program! My name is Mallory Foutch and I am a third year English and History major. I am originally from the small but beautiful town of Ottawa, Illinois. Two years ago I moved to Rowlett, Texas and love it. I plan on attending graduate school to pursue a career in Student Affairs when I finish up my undergraduate degrees, and want to work in a profession where I can help students in any way. In my limited amounts of free time, I love to listen to music and go to concerts, be with my friends, catch up with my family, explore Austin for delicious and fun food, search for new opportunities, and do community service projects. I'm excited to work with all of you and look forward to meeting everyone!

After graduation, I plan on continuing my education in graduate school for either forensic or cognitive psychology. Farah Mithani
Welcome to UTurn! My name is Farah Mithani and I'm a mentor for the UTurn program. I've lived in Dallas, Texas for most of my life. My hobbies consist of playing my guitar, rock climbing, and writing. I am a sophomore Urban Studies major here at UT. In the future, I would like to work on urban planning projects geared towards developing third world countries. For this coming spring semester, I am looking forward to getting to know and working with my fellow UTurn mentees!

Howdy! My name is Apolinar Perez but I go by Polo. I'm currently a Sociology 5th year Senior with a minor in Psychology. I'm originally from Fort Worth, Texas. I generally don't listen to country music, but I like most other music genres. A few of my hobbies include, running, photography, and video games (when I have the time). My future plans are to take a year off of school and apply next year for grad school in Sociology. A couple random information facts: My favorite color is blue and I'm vegetarian.
Joe Richard
Hey UTurn. My name is Joe Richard a senior majoring in Economics with a minor in African American Studies. I am from Baytown, Texas, about 20 miles east from Houston. I actually started out at UT majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE). I stayed in ECE for about two and half years before changing my major to Economics. I have an amazing and super intelligent daughter who was born my freshman year at UT. Besides spending time with her, I also enjoy spending time with friends, watching movies, mentoring and encouraging high school students, volunteering, and just learning new things or exploring new places.
