Hi UTurn students! My name is Chelsea Bucklew and I can't wait to meet you all, but for now let me tell you a little bit about myself. I'm a 5th year senior studying Sociology, so if you have any sociological questions I'm your girl. Also, I'm minoring in History so I know a thing or two about the past. My family currently resides in the greater Austin area but we are originally from Washington, DC. EAST COAST REPRESENT! I dream big and aspire to live in New York City in my post grad life and do some fantastic things. I'm a huge foodie, so for those of you who enjoy a delicious meal, we will get along just fine. I also enjoy working out, shopping, traveling, singing, and Christmas! I'm an only child so I'm always down for some bonding time considering my lack of a sibling. That's about all for now, but feel free to contact me with any questions.
Hello UTurn students & fellow Longhorns! My name is Jeffrey Charles and I am a second year French Major from Houston, Texas. I plan on double majoring in speech pathology in the future. So after graduation I plan on going to graduate school in order to get my Masters and maybe in the future my Ph.D. I like to do many activities that involve interacting with others like camping, Frisbee, soccer and if not outdoor play racquet ball. I would encourage anyone to join me. I’m trilingual and I always have a great sense of humor when helping others. I’m looking forward to serve as a peer mentor and most important to welcome you to this wonderful program.
Hello, and welcome to the UTurn Program! My name is Mallory Foutch and I am a third year English and History major. I am originally from the small but beautiful town of Ottawa, Illinois. Two years ago I moved to Rowlett, Texas and love it. I plan on attending graduate school to pursue a career in Student Affairs when I finish up my undergraduate degrees, and want to work in a profession where I can help students in any way. In my limited amounts of free time, I love to listen to music and go to concerts, be with my friends, catch up with my family, explore Austin for delicious and fun food, search for new opportunities, and do community service projects. I'm excited to work with all of you and look forward to meeting everyone!
Welcome to the UTurn Program! My name is Graham, I'm a native Texan, and am entering my final year at the University of Texas. I'm a History major and a Music minor, and am participating in UT's new Music Recording Technology program. I'm currently planning on attending law school after graduation, focusing on international public interest law. In my spare time I love writing, playing, recording, and listening to music, as well as going to shows. I spent a couple of years doing audio work in Austin's video game industry, so if that's an industry you're interested in just ask and I'll tell you all about it. I wish you all a great semester and I'm looking forward to meeting you!
Hello and welcome to UTurn! My name is Michelle Jackson and I am from Pearland, Texas. This is my third year at UT and I’m currently studying Psychology pursuing the BS Degree. No, I won’t psychoanalyze you… When not with UTurn, I am a research assistant in Dr. Woolley’s Developmental Psychology Lab. After graduation I plan to attend graduate school in Psychology. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, cycling (my new hobby), both playing and listening to music and exploring Austin. I look forward to getting to know you over the next semester and to help connect you with all UT has to offer!
Welcome to the UTurn Program! My name is Sonali. I am a third year government and economics major originally from Coppell, TX. As a pre-law student, I'm looking forward to a future in public policy at the federal level. In my free time, I enjoy exploring Austin's music, food and eclectic culture. Overall, I'm looking forward to this opportunity as a UTurn mentor and connecting students to the vast resources available on this campus!
