Study abroad programs enrich the academic, professional and personal lives of students, and are a key component in a liberal arts education.

UT Austin offers one of the largest and most active study abroad programs in the country. There are a variety of program options, from exchange programs to maymesters to faculty-led summer programs and a variety of other affiliated programs.

For information about department-specific programs, students can contact their departmental advisors.

UTeach-Liberal Arts has created a program for students interested in teaching English abroad. Students interested in TESOL can travel to Querétaro, Mexico or Daegu, South Korea for a six-week internship that will improve their teaching skills as well as their fluency in the local language.

Liberal Arts Career Services also encourages students to expand their work experience while abroad, helping them find jobs and internships around the world.

Find out more, including information about funding resources, through the International Office.
