Virgil's Birthday Celebration

The Department of Classics and Eta Sigma Phi is celebrating the birthday of Rome's most famous poet, Virgil.
The event will feature a poetry recitation contest in Vergil's honor. Participants must memorize and recite 10-11 lines from any of Vergil's works in front of a panel of faculty judges. Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place winners, and certificates will be given to all participants. Recitations will be held outside Waggener Hall, and birthday cake will be provided in the classics lounge.
