Dan Grossman is a physician who received his bachelor's degree in molecular biophysics and biochemistry from Yale University and his doctorate from Stanford University. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He is a Co-Investigator on the Texas Policy Evaluation Project and is involved with several aspects of the study, including coordinating the portion of the study focused on abortion and providing input on the Postpartum Contraception Study.

His current research at Ibis includes both clinical and social science studies aimed at improving access to contraception and safe abortion in the US, Latin America, and sub-Saharan Africa, as well as evaluating the impact of integrating reproductive health and HIV services. Dan is also Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at UCSF and works as a physician part-time in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Dan is based in the Oakland, California, office of Ibis Reproductive Health. When not at work, Dan enjoys spending time with his two daughters, hiking in the Bay Area and traveling to distant countries.
