Dan Grossman, Professor, Dept. of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences and Director, Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health (ANSIRH), UCSF - Investigator
Dan Grossman is an Investigator on the Texas Policy Evaluation Project and is involved with several aspects of the project. These include coordinating the portion of the study concerning abortion and providing input on the Postpartum Contraception Study. His current research includes both clinical and social science studies aimed at improving access to contraception and safe abortion. He has published over 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals and serves on committees for professional organizations such as the American Public Health Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. As a faculty member in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at UCSF, Dan performs clinical work at San Francisco General Hospital. He is also the Director of Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health (ANSIRH) and a Senior Advisor with Ibis Reproductive Health. Dan received his Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University and an MD from Stanford University. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at UCSF.
When not at work, Dan enjoys spending time with his two daughters, hiking in the Bay Area and traveling to distant countries.
