The University of Texas at Austin is proud to make Commencement commemorative items available for purchase. Limited items from prior years are also available on the order form.

Commencement T-shirts

The image on the 2004 Commencement T-shirt depicts the well-known campus sculpture by Charles Umlauf, The Torchbearers, holding the torch of knowledge with The University of Texas Tower in the foreground. The warm glow of the Texas sky completes the setting. T-shirts featuring the custom design by the UT Design Center are available for $15 each (tax included).

Commencement Poster

A 22" x 28" poster of the Radiant Beacon graphic, including a quote by President Faulkner is now available. The quote reads: "In our pursuit of excellence, The University passes the torch of knowledge from one generation to the next. Through our graduates, we shine on." Colorful Photographs

2004 Fireworks Photograph A favorite Commencement tradition is the orange UT Tower beaming the graduation year "04" in the lighted windows. When surrounded by fireworks it is a hallmark of the celebration. These elements are captured in a single moment from the perspective of the Littlefield Fountain and are available in a 8" x 12" photograph. Available for $15 each (tax included).

Tower Photograph in Daylight As the most familiar icon of The University of Texas at Austin, the Tower symbolizes the heart of the campus. This photograph by Marsha Miller, photojournalist in the Office of Public Affairs, is a UT classic with the white limestone outline of the Tower framed by a clear blue sky.
