Disability Services

Special services are available to accommodate needs of people with disabilities who will be participating in and attending Commencement activities at The University of Texas at Austin.

Services for Degree Candidates with Disabilities

Degree candidates who require specific accommodations due to a disability are asked to contact their college, school or department representative so the proper arrangements can be made prior to arrival at Commencement programs.

Services for students with disabilities are available through the Dean of Student's office. Please call Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at (512) 471-6259 or by TDD at (512) 471-4641. On Saturday, December 8 and Sunday, December 9, information is available by calling the University Police Department at (512) 471-4441 or by TDD (512) 471-4777.  While every effort will be made, the university may be unable to fulfill last-minute requests.

Services for Guests with Disabilities

Services are available to accommodate needs for people with disabilities attending Commencement activities. If you require accommodations due to a disability, please contact the appropriate office listed below at least five days prior to Commencement.
