Academic research units provide world-class training and research opportunities
to more than 900 UT students. PRC staff and students are also involved in a
variety of service activities using campus laboratories and facilities. They
volunteer in educational programs for students and teachers from elementary
through high school and serve as the best possible bridge to industry and government
in transferring new skills and technology. The research campus is a critical
part of the education offered by UT Austin.
