and your staff. We were scheduled to offer our program... and then the ice
storm hit. When they closed the University on the 25th - you stayed in close
contact with me. When the University re-opened at 10am on the 26th - the Commons
was open and ready for us by 9:30am. The service and the food was excellent
throughout the event even though I know you must have been shorthanded. Many

present at approximately 45 conferences and facilities annually, and I must say
that it is difficult to beat the facilities at the UT Pickle Research Center. We
all had a 30-foot screen, Internet access, a wireless microphone, an excellent
sound system, and theatre-style seating for our presentations. At one point, I
had a photo from a live Internet feed, a PowerPoint presentation, and a computer
model from another program all running simultaneously. That is just not possible
at most venues. The Conference facilities are excellent here. The Internet
connection always works well and is a T-1 high speed line. I thank the
staff for their helpfulness each year at this event. They are truly
top-notch."
