Audio/Video Post Production

• Final Cut Pro v3 - for synching footage from both cameras and creating final edit of lecture w/ titles, pre-mastered audio, etc.
• Discreet Cleaner 6.0.1 - for cropping final edit out of Final Cut Pro to create Digital Video Master
• Sorenson Squeeze v3.0.300.11 Pro Bundle - to create streaming versions from Digital Video Master for target connection speeds

For lectures lasting longer than 20 minutes, we found that using a desktop system for encoding was time-consuming and not always reliable; thus investing in a dedicated system to be used for encoding is recommended to increase workflow efficiency.
