Law Computer Learning Center

Leaving UT Account Information

IF Account
BevoBucks
IF Account will be closed at your own discretion.
You can find instructions on how to do that here (http://www.utexas.edu/its/account/answers/close.html).
It is best to close your IF Account when you are no longer affiliated with the university so that you will not have to worry about accumulating any extra charges that could put a financial bar on your account.
All UT Law graduates will be able to use the computer lab (LCLC) during the summer session, as long as you do not close your IF Account. If you need to print, please place funds into your Bevobucks account.
Bevobucks are refundable:
When you graduate from the University or if you withdraw from the University. As long as you are currently enrolled in the University you must leave your money in your Bevo Bucks account.
How do I request a refund?
Send an email to the Bevo Bucks Office (bevobucks@www.utexas.edu). Include your name and UTEID. Your Bevo Bucks refund will be put in your student account which is managed by Student Accounts Receivable. When your refund is processed it will be applied to other debt owed to the University and the rest will be sent to you. Please keep your address updated to receive your refund.
Webspace
PNA Access
As a student your Webspace will be active up until the 12th class day of the next long semester (i.e. If you graduate in Spring '05, you will be able to access your Webspace files up until the 12th class day of the Fall '05 semester.) As an employee, your Webspace will be active for a period of approximately two weeks after you leave your occupation at the university.
Public Network Information: The student role code on an EID remains active through the summer and is deactivated on the first class day of the fall semester. EIDs for December graduates are deactivated as soon as their graduation status is updated by the Registrar, soon after finals are over.
Email (UMBS)
Alert Updates
Your UMBS mailbox remains active for as long as you are affiliated with the University and for six months following your departure from the University (http://www.utexas.edu/its/umbs/answers/active.html).

This gives you time to:
  • Establish a new mailbox name at your new job, school or Internetservice provider.
  • Notify everyone of your new address.
  • Automatically forward your e-mail from mail.utexas.edu to your new address (http://www.utexas.edu/its/umbs/answers/forward-mail.html).
Additional information about departing the University can be obtained at:
