The University of Texas at Austin campus is about 10 miles from
Austin-Bergstrom
International Airport (ABIA). Transportation options include taxis,
Capital Metro Bus services and Super Shuttle. A number of car rental agencies are also available at the airport.
Driving directions from the airport and from Interstate
35 are available. There is a parking garage at the AT&T Center.
You’ll find a few surprises at ABIA that reflect Austin’s claim to be “The Live Music Capital of the World.” If you arrive on Thursday or
Friday afternoon, be sure to look for the live music stage on the secured side of the terminal to catch one of Austin’s many musicians.
ABIA also participates in the “Artwork in Public Places,” and
offers a changing exhibit as well.
