The book store has some copies of the new
Purves (4th edition), but since I
did make this book required, they will get them as soon as possible.
The book is very helpful, but there is no one book or packet that will cover all of our material. Some students
rely entirely on notes, some record every lecture, and some have many books and packets from previous years.
One idea is for several students to buy a book together.
No discussions the first week of class. Discussions begin the third week. Basically not until September.
OK, the website for the fall is slowly coming together.
The blog is up and running.
The wiki is in place and I will distribute the login information.
Some uber geeks have already formed study groups. Only so many evenings in a week....
