[Triptolemus then visits King Lyncus in Scythia. Lyncus is jealous of Triptolemus' duty and attacks him with a dagger in his sleep. Before the knife can enter his heart, Ceres transforms Triptolemus into a lynx, then drives back to Olympus.]
