ASL 506: First-Year American Sign Language I (Bosson, Connolly, Ramont, Rathmann, Seeger)

Extensive exposure to body language and American Sign Language (ASL) allowing the development of beginning communication skills used with Deaf people. Emphasis on comprehension skills, as well as linguistic features of the language taught in context.

ASL 312K: Second-Year American Sign Language I (Bosson, Connolly, Ramont, Seeger)

A continuation of ASL 507 involving extensive exposure to body language and American Sign Language (ASL) allowing the development of intermediate communication skills used with Deaf people. Emphasis on comprehension and expressive skills, as well as linguistic features of the language taught in context.
