The Linguistics Web Page Generator, developed in 1998, has now been replaced by Blackboard, the software that UT has adopted for publishing course materials on the web. All UT courses already have Blackboard web sites that are ready for you to use! Just go to http://courses.utexas.edu and login with your UT EID. This will take you to a list of the courses you are teaching. Click on the course of your choice; this will take you to that course web site, which will be for the most part blank. Click on Control Panel to begin editing and adding content to your site. Need some help? The Center for Instructional Technologies offers workshops and assistance to faculty and instructors who want to use Blackboard.
If you already have a course web site (Blackboard or otherwise), please add a link on your site to the linguistics course site!! (http://www.utexas.edu/courses/linguistics). If you have an external (i.e. non-Blackboard) course web site, please also send your URL to the webmaster (linclass@www.utexas.edu) so that we can link to your site from the course listings pages.
