Visio's default file type is the VSD file format (i.e., ViSio Drawing). You cannot open/edit/print a VSD file on a computer that does not have Visio.
Fortunately, Visio allows you to save a drawing in a host of other file formats (image, web, postscript, etc). You can save a drawing as an image file by:
This image file can now be printed from a computer that does not have Visio. Don't forget to also save your drawing as a VSD file so you can edit it at a later date on a lab computer.
