Bacchus and Ariadne (1693) by Antoine Coypel (1661 - 1722). Seated on a rock, Ariadne is regaled by Bacchus and his band of bacchante, satyr, and putti followers. On the far right, a putto takes the reigns of Bacchus' panther-drawn chariot. Above him, putti deck the woods with flower garlands. Behind the couple, a putto bears a torch.
