Evaluation

Five short (250-300 word) reaction papers.  These should be turned in on the first or second class session spent at one of the ten "stops" on our LOTR road trip: 20%.

Term paper outline (due Nov. 4) and rough draft (due Nov. 25): 10% each.

One 10-12 page term paper:  30%.  Due Dec. 11.

Two essay exams: 20% each.  Oct. 9 and Dec. 4.

Class participation: 10%.
