Outside Assignments:

For each assignment, follow the links for sheets to be printed out/handed in:
Due date for Assignment #1 is Sep 14; #2 is Oct 5; #3 is Oct 14; #4 is Oct 28; and #5 is Nov 23. These assignments are a part of each exam and will affect your exam score directly. Assignment #1 affects your grade on exam #1; Assignments #2 and #3 affect your grade on exam #2; and Assignments #4 and #5 affect your grade on exam #3. Here is how each assignment affects your test score:
  1. If the assignment is turned in on time and complete, no deductions are made on the exam grade. "ON TIME" means during class on the due date. In special circumstances, assignments can be handed in one period prior to the due date, but no earlier.
  2. If the assignment is turned in late, your test grade will be reduced by three points. Assignments #2 and #3 are treated separately, but both will affect the second exam. By not turning in #2 and #3 on time, you would lose six points on the second exam.
  3. If the assignment is turned in on time, but is incomplete, your test grade will be reduced three points. An "incomplete" assignment means that the instructions were not followed e.g., not all questions in the assignment description were answered, etc.
  4. If the assignment is not turned in before we take the exam which it affects, your test grade will be reduced by seven points. If neither assignment #2 nor #3 are turned in by the second exam, you would lose fourteen points on that exam.
