This undergraduate courses focuses on applying the theories and research on learning and motivation to common application settings, particularly those involving education. The course is most commonly taken by education majors, nutrition majors, CSD majors and a scattering of others who are interested in the content for their own growth as students. This is a course for graduate students who have not taken any graduate level educational psychology courses but who need a foundation in learning and motivation. The course focuses on theories of learning and motivation and how they are applied to a wide range of settings inside and outside of education. Taught every fall.
