Listen to the following radio interview and read Lawrence Wright's "One Drop of Blood" (the first article in the course packet). In light of these works, consider your own ancestors and your relation to the community or communities that they form. Where do your ancestors come from? Are there several different branches coming from different places? Please give us your thoughts on your ancestry and "communities" in the sense of this interview. Keep it under 1 page single spaced and hand it in on the beginning of class on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3rd (NOTE: this date was changed from Tuesday the 1st because the packet at Abel's was unavailable).
