Facilities
We have completed a field laboratory/biological station 1800 sq ft. Sleeping quarters are on the second floor of the main park building. The station generator runs 3 hours each night, and there are bathrooms, showers, and a park kitchen. In addition to the laboratory, research facilities include 7 screened insectaries, a garden, and an extensive trail system which is tagged with permanent numbered metal markers. The coordinates for this trail system are stored in computer files at UT Austin. We have two small generators at the laboratory which operate power tools and station lights when the main park generator is not operating.
