Now that Seton and Central Health, Travis County’s health care district, have worked out details of an agreement for the operation of the Community Care Collaborative and the UT System Board of Regents has approved the master plan for the medical district, the focus of decision-making has moved to the operating agreement between UT Austin and Seton for the new teaching hospital. The process of requesting accreditation of the Dell Medical School’s curriculum from the Liaison Committee on Medical Education continues, with the goal of starting the school with a class of 50 students in 2016.
