Dell Medical School Update - July 2013

In a little more than 1,000 days, the first class of students at the Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin are expected to don their lab coats and take their first steps to becoming first-class clinicians, researchers and educators. The partners in the ambitious project to transform health care continue to meet key milestones with collaboration and vision. 

 

 

The Right People

Timely Decisions

In recent weeks, the Seton Healthcare Family and Central Health have signed a public-private agreement to improve community care, the UT System Board of Regents has approved the medical complex site plan and Seton has committed additional money to build a new teaching hospital. Read more...

 

 

 

 

Excellent Facilities

Dallas architectural firm HKS has begun designing the new, $295 million teaching hospital where Dell Medical School students will treat patients and conduct research. The hospital is in the center of the new medical complex. Read more...
