Updating Email addresses
- Use a recent version of Eudora (3 or
higher) -- available on the Classics Server. Copy the Installer to
your computer, double-click to install, then trash the installer
from your computer.
- Please e-mail Constanze if you change your own e-mail address!!
Select:
- To change ONE e-mail address: Find the
address you need. Highlight it and
c to copy.
Go to insert.

- To change SEVERAL addresses: In
Netscape, use File
Save As to
save the text of the list to your computer. Working from that, cut
and past to select those addresses that you wish to change.
c to copy.
Go to insert
Insert:
- Launch your Eudora, or click back on your Eudora to activate
it.

- Open the Address Book
under the Special menu.
To change an existing nickname: Select the
nickname in the left column. Click in the right column, highlight the
incorrect address,
v to paste.
To make a new nickname, click on the
button. You will be
asked to name the nickname. To make the nickname appear in your
Message
New Message to --> or Forward to --> lists of
choices, click in the box to add to recipient list.
When you click OK, the new nickname appears
in the left column. Click in the right column and
v to paste in the
new addresses.
Delete:
- To delete a nickname, click on it once
in the left column. Then click the
button.
