Napoleon Bonaparte is entombed under the gold dome of Hôtel des Invalides. This building served originally as a home for aged or crippled soldiers. It now also houses the Musée de l’Armée (Army Museum) which holds military memorabilia dating from the Middle Ages to the 20th century. |
